Ohaii, this is a random fill in post!

Okay, this is going to be a tad pic heavy because I am in photography and just took a load of pictures. I thought why not d0 a fill in post, because my next one is the 9th of June or something. The pictures were taken in or by the graveyard next to my school because I am so goffik (My Immortal--the worst fancic ever reference.)
Anyway, here is my face.

Here I am on a wall. Today I'm wearing a black top from Urban Outfitters that I've had for ages, a polka dot miniskirt, and my lace tights that have an obscene amount of holes in them.

And my trusty plimmies from Primark that cost me two pounds. Seriously, though, I've had them almost a year and wore them while walking around New York (my feet KILLED!) It's amazing they've not just disintegrated or something. And as I've probably said before on here, the laces are actually leftover bits of my curtains. So a bit frayed.

Better pic of my outfit. I could not fit my head in because I positioned the camera on a wall and it cut my head off. But it got all of my clothes in. But not my feet, so it looks like I have stumps. I don't, I promise.
So this is what I did in school today :D

Snippetty Snip. 24th May 2010

Hallo friends.

I am in the middle of exam death hell at the moment, so I am bringing you snippets of me. I am too disgusting at the moment to be photographed in full, so here you go.
To cheer myself up, I have been painting my nails different colours every couple of days. This nail polish is from Superdrug and is supposedly a "clubbing colour". I only realised this when I got home, but I do think it is amusing that bright colours are for clubbing. Also, in my opinion, clubbing is just an excuse to rub yourself against people in a socially acceptable environment. So why bother putting nail polish on. In fact, why bother even putting clothes on. You may as well cut out the middle man. The fabric in the background is my bedspread. Yay pretty.
This is my hairclip daisy. It is from Claire's Accessories (I know, I know...). It makes me feel summery. Also a cheeky shot of my rook piercing. I want a smaller ring for it, but I DON'T KNOW HOW TO CHANGE IT MYSELF. This photo would have looked better if I wasn't wearing glasses. Oh well, sweet hindsight.
This is my life at the moment, so I am sorry there is not a great deal of fashion involved in my post. Sucks to be me right now. But soon I will be able to frolic around in summer dresses. Note to self: Need more summer dresses.

BBQ yay!

Hey hey guys and gals, hope you're all having a fab weekend. As the title suggests I'm off to a friends a BBQ shortly as it's his birthday. Can't wait, good food, good friends and lots and lots of vodka! I've not been up to much this week as the little un has been ill AGAIN so it's mainly consisted of playing on the park and taking the dog for long walks as suddenly we have gorgeous weather! Apparently it's gonna be thunder storms here though this weekend which I'm actually happy about because I love them! Anyways, my outfit mainly consists of things from Primark. I got this dress from there and I love it that much I've got it in pink as well. The buttons were white plastic though so I've changed it for these cherries ones. It's strapless but I'm bebating whether to turn it into a halter neck with red ribbon. What do ya think? My shoes were from Peacocks I think and are very comfortable, it's too hot for massive heels. My cardigan was also from Primark, it's just a little black one I've got for covering my shoulders and the tops of my arms. I love this necklace, it's from some place on ebay, it's my favourite. The hairband is also from ebay, can you tell I like cherries?! I've got a couple of plain black beaded bracelets as well, and a big fat one with a black heart on it.
Right peoples, I'm offski, have fun!

Laura xxxx
P.S I can't figure out how to move the photos about, I did last time! Sorry!

Hello 18th of May. How are you?

Good Evening! Today I am a little bit plain but I feel quite nice in this outfit. I've spent my day drawing a pin-up girl for Lady Contraband and having coffee on the seafront and feeding the pigeons.

I have a new red headscarf which I got really cheap off ebay. It's going to look good with a few other things I own but today it's mainly to hide my greasy hair since I'd rather not wash it too much so it doesn't fade quickly. Apparently red and pink aren't supposed to go? But I'll ignore that rule.

I got this blouse from Seconds Ahead the other day. It's usually full of crap granny clothes but you can find at least one wearable thing. Baby pink and covered in strawberries - how girly. The grey cardigan is from Primark and it's so handy and goes with everything that I wish I'd bought several. :/Boring plain skinny jeans today and the usual silver Docs. You must be sick of the sight of them by now, but they are always glued to my feet. So to liven it up I thought I'd also show you this rag rug I have on my bedroom floor. It's from Barbados and is handmade by an old lady living next door to where my Mum stayed.

Peace out. x

Late, filling in for Isabella :)

Hi there m'dears, as you can see I'm filling in for Isabella, this is supposed to be for the 10th but never mind. I'm afraid this is a bit rubbish for my first post, I've not been very well so walking around like a zombie most of the time and trying to help my Mr decorate which is not going well! At least I've got the rest of the weekend to myself pretty much. Had an ok week, I got my acceptance letter for my princess to go to nursery, can't wait, I know she's going to love. I've also been planning what to do for her 3rd birthday as that's next month. I've been buying her lots of Jack Skellington stuff from the Nightmare Before Christmas as that's her favourite film along with Corpse Bride. You can definitely tell she's mine!

Anyhoo, like I said been feeling pooky all weekend so my outfit isn't incredibly exciting. This skirt I love, I bought it recently on ebay for a fiver, I think it's originally from Alienskin. My strappy vest I think was just from Tescos and I'm wearing the red shirt from Primark as it's still a little chilly. I wish the summer would bloody hurry up and get here!

Hope you guys have a better weekend than me! Laura (goth_girl) xxx

P.S excuse if I haven't got this right on here, first time doing it and a little confusing!

Misery's May 15th

Hello! It's Lady Misery here. I'm enjoying my saturday when really I should be learning my Shakespeare script for drama, but I'm quite happy surfing the net and reading Creepy Pastas for now. My outfit's pretty basic today, and I'm sorry this is so short, but I'm about to have a Spanish omelette and time is not on my side :) Have a lovely weeked!

Love, Rachel xx

It is May 14th

Hello Mookies!
I failed and forgot to post on Wednesday. So I grabbed my camera, realized it was out of batteries, and then recharged it. Then took the pictures!
So here I am today! About ten minutes ago, if you want to be precise about it! It was taken in my garden. The bench you see pictured has a funny story behind it. My stepdad's dad made it for us. He's a member of a bunch of these dating sites and is always meeting new women on them, and my mum jokes that it is because he puts an ad in his profile that says "comes with a free bench!" So I am sitting on the Step Grandad bench, next to my bonfire pit, where I had the rather epic party last Friday!Ah, the clothes. I almost forgot amongst all that bench related excitement! I am wearing a blouse from Forever 21, which was kind of an impulse buy as I had a giftcard and five minutes. Under that I have on my lace bolero with the ribbony sleeves. I wanted to wear my one without the ribbons today (same pattern) because the ribbons get caught on everything (and actually have paint on them--no kidding!) But I couldn't find that one in the mess pit that is my room so I put on this one. I have one with spiders web patterns on it, too, which is rather pretty!
My jeans are Bullhead from PacSun. They were originally black, but I've had them for around two years and they've faded a lot, so now they are grey. I liked the fit, so I got the same kind last autumn, but now they are sort of grey too! Then I have the four dollar Salvation Army goth shoes on! Yay! I still love them! I was actually wearing my red DMs today, but I took them off when I got in and couldn't be arsed to lace them up so I just put on these shoes! Besides, I hadn't worn them in a while and I thought they were looking a tad lonely.
And finally, the pink crocs Rowan can't believe I own! Look closely at the little charm things on it, okay? I just noticed the humour of this the other day. Think Sex and Relationships section.
Give up? Okay, well I have a sex toy guitar charm on my shoe! Only the neck snapped off :( And I have a bunch of pirate skulls, a British flag, and the Chinese symbol for love. But the STG is the best, it's even pink!

Well, I shall be off now! I have two English projects and a Spanish quiz on the "Si clause" to study for. Fun weekend ahead!

Immi xx

When It's Time.

How goes it? It is currently 3.29pm and I am very, very hungry. Just thought I'd throw that out there for funsies. I don't really know what say introductary wise. I'm really happy that I have a post due today, since (for the forseeable future) it's my last day on the forum. I've said already how much I'm going to miss it, so we wont dip into the sentimental pool of no return.

So, with my outfit I'm cheating a bit, because this is what I wore to a party two weeks ago, but I knew I'd get today and panic I'd have nothing so I thought ahead and took pictures. mwhaha.

It's a sly wee dress I bought from Primark a year ago. I stopped wearing it because I managed to get the zip stuck, but I'm a super genius and fixed it ;D. The print at the top are roses and it's meant to have huge ruffles at the front, but I don't like them so I tucked them in.

Underneath the dress is a black lacy vest top, also from Primark and my tights are just plain old black, also primarks finest.

My shoesies are from New Look. In the end I didn't wear them out because I wasn't sure how well they went with the dress. I just want wear out of them because I bought them for prom and didn't go haha.

So here's a little food for thought before I go,
Last night one of Zappa's friends caught me on Facebook, I can't remember ever meeting him but he decided to tell me that "I used to be hot" and he was sorry that I wasn't anymore. I took it as a joke and we bantered for a bit. But it did knock me, a lot. It confirmed how I felt.
And then I realised that I am 100% happier now than I was back when I was "hot".

The fact of the matter is, I'd rather be ugly and happy than hot and miserable any day. My brain feels pretty beautiful, that's what's important.
:)

Love always,
Capulet x.

Ready? OK!

Ready? You bet!
You ain't seen nothing yet.
Alternachick and mooks,
how rowdy can you get?

Hi Mooks,
I've been awful and missed my day by ages, but here I am, better late than never. I am wearing MY NEW CHEERLEADING KIT. I picked it up about half an hour ago and just tried it all on for the first time. Isn't it beautiful?
So, I am wearing a skirt, an undertop and a shell top, all in royal blue and white. Please excuse my messy room, my dodgy grey socks and the face I haven't put my face on.
I've been cheerleading since September and it's a lot of fun. Cheerleading is a great sport, not just for bimbos in tiny uniforms trying to impress boys. My squad, Tarannau (welsh for thunder), cheer for our American Football team. We also go out for events in the local community, like this weekend, we'll be on the finish line for a fun run for Cancer Research. This is great, as these kinds of events up our profile in the local community, which means we're more likely to be forgiven for any rowdy behaviour from the boys, and it makes it easier for us to find sponsorship from local businesses. We compete as well, against squads from other unis and dance schools, under the name Thunderbirds.
Hope you approve! I'm off to leap about excitedly in my new gear.
Over and out!
George (AcidKitty)

RAWR I is a leopard!!!

Today is dress up day in work and I am a leopard!!! My outfit is actually lingerie from ebay with a black top and leggings underneath. I'm a leopard because we had a limited edition 'Jungle Jelly' out in our Lush store and we get to dress up as Jungle Animals :D.
I done my eye makeup with Urban Decay, Deluxe Shadow box, colours Honey and Zero. I totally adore this set and I would definately recommend it to everyone! I used Lush Utrabalm on my eye lids and then applied the Honey all over my eye before using a smaller brush to do the spots. I then used the same bush just to deepen the colour of my Brow and join it up to the eye.
My hair was a right mission, I backcombed and then rounded the front sections of my hair before spraying with alot of hairspray to give myself ears.
Overall, I'd say my outfit was a definite hit!! (esp. with the boys ;) )

Late, Again.

So yeah, apologies ladies, this is late again. I blame the fact that I was at KISS on Sunday, and spent yesterday having a duvet day with the man and the sociology notes. Anyway, here's an outfit I prepared earlier.

Tiny wee picture, and blurry, but at least it's saving the upload limit? :(

Anyway, it's a work outfit again, so EVERYTHING is from Internacionale. My top is just plain black, the shoulders are all bunched up - god damn massive shoulder trend, like I wasn't self concious about my shoulders as it is. It's really really long, so it has to be bunched up under my skirt; I bought the tops originally as dresses, but apparently, the hemline was too short. Beh.

My Skirt is very pretty though! You can't really see it, but it's got plenty of ruffle layers and is made of a sort of chiffon material and flounces very nicely.

My necklace is pretty plain, I got it for 75p from the sale selection at work. I liked it when it first came in, but not enough to spend £4.99. Wait a while, and voila, inexpensive, lovely jewellery.

Here's a better view of my skirt, and I had to let you all see my tights! Sadly, you can't see them very well here, but they're mock suspender tights! I LOVE THEM. The little lines are all tiny bows! So pretty!

Sorry it's short and sweet, but I'm off to study more.

Cleggstasy?

Yeah. The whole Lib Dems thing went well. I think we're all a bit annoyed about the Conservatives and the whole hung parliament situation. Wasn't exactly what we were going for..

HOWEVER: today is a sunny day, I'm going to see Duke Special tonight and I don't have a hangover despite the fact I REALLY should. The kitchen (the site of the infamous election 2010 drinking game) looks like a bomb hit it. A bomb composed of mostly Strongbow, baccy and shot glasses, but a bomb nonetheless. Today is a casual "OH MY GOD IT'S SUNNY IN THE CITY OF RAIN!" kind of day. So nothing very exciting to show you today I'm afraid..
Also, I am sideways. WHAT THE FUCK?
I am wearing a demin skirt from H&M, a vest top with flamingos from a sports shop in my home town(!) a pink bracelet from Camden and pink beads from a shop in Spain.
Also NO MAKE UP. Loving it.
B*Witched just came on my Ipod. So that's nice.
Hope everyone is having a lovely day :)

Better late than never?

I am a bad, bad Vic. I apologise, ladies, this should have been up almost a week ago but life just caught up with me.
Please excuse, also, my rather attractive facial expression.

I present to you, last saturday:
  • Purple blouse, Matalan
  • Strawberry dress, CAMDEN MARKET
  • Skully scarf, H&M,
  • Socks, topshop
  • Brogues, Camden :D
I bought the dress at the mookymeet back in easter, it's oddly girly for me, but I do rather love it. In fact, this whole outfit is much more girly than what I usually wear, but for some reason I always feel like that when I go to see my lover, as I did on this day.
Again, apologies for the lateness of the post :(

6th of May, election day

Today it is cold and grim outside and I am wearing warm toast clothes which definitely do not beget an attractive Annis, so instead I will post some pictures of what I wore last night. My friends Tom and Chris had a gig: they're in a band with two of Tom's brothers, and they're very good indeed: Tom plays drums and Chris sings, and they write their own very sophisticated, Pearl Jam-esque songs. It was a really good gig and a really fun night: we drank lots of Hobgoblin, and they ended with a surprise cover of Killing In The Name, which met with much enthusiasm.
My pictures of my outfit are horribly blurry, for some reason. Perhaps my nickname should be Shaky Hands McGee. But yes, I was wearing:

* Black dress from a lovely clothes shop called Ark, which has lots and lots of highly desirable things which are ALWAYS too expensive for me to afford, so on the odd occasions when I'm browsing and find something affordable it's always cause for celebration. It's a lovely dress because it gives me a waist and makes my collarbones look lovely, but it's a little too short so I'm a little self-conscious about wearing it out. This is the dress which has the back cut into strips, which prompted the bra strap etiquette questions a couple of months ago. So underneath, out of necessity, I was wearing:
* White cami top with green apples all over it. My brother brought it back from Urban Outfitters in America when he went about five years ago...he has surprisingly good taste, it would seem!
* Thick grey leopard print tights, which you can't really see too well here.
* My Urban Outfitters boots, which I wore in my last post, too.
* New necklace from New Look, which I really like.
* Little cloth flower hairclips from the young children's section of Claire's Accessories, haha. I like the bizarre kitsch colour clash they make with my hair

And I had a go at curling my hair, too, which I haven't tried for about a year and which didn't work too well the last time I attempted it. I was pretty pleased with the results this time round :)

It's raining, I'm listening to Melissa Auf Der Maur's new album [which is AMAZING, by the way], and will be wandering off to vote in a little while. Has everyone else who can visited their polling station? You should, my lovelies!

Over and out xxx

Where are all the new posts?

So I came on, and notice there haven't been any posts the past couple of days. So I hope no one minds my surprise filling in post (I'm being naughty and doing it without telling anyone).

Anyway. I know many of you have been curious about my hair colour since the death of the red, and I wanted to show off my outfit from the burlesque night on Saturday, which is also the skirt I bought off Goth_Girl on ebay!

I apologise the for size of the pictures, I thought they'd be resized, but they're not. The first one is me looking scared and drinking Gin. The second is me and my friend Gemma before we went out. I am wearing a black top from Primark and a belt from New Look which I'm going to take back because it wouldn't stay closed and kept pinging open!

So, surprise post over and done with, hope you liked it!

Nautical Fun Times

So that is my outfit today. I'm wear plain white linen trousers I got from Tesco ages ago. A nice top I got in New Look today. And I've popped a scarf thing on the collar. My shoes, oh I love those shoes. Found them in a really cheap shoe shop, on sale. Got them for about £8. LOVE THEM.

It's nothing amazing, but I hope you like it..

Glitter Eyes.
