The Candy Man

Hello beasts.

I think I am a day late. Shiiiiiit. But here is a post, because I don't want to miss it out. I think we are running quite a few short. We can rectify this though!! I will make sure of this!
This outfit is unfortunately being brought to you in fragments as Dan is revising for and taking his finals at the moment and doesn't have time to take the photographs. I tried to take photos of my whole body but with my big ass mofo camera this can be pretty hard. So here goes.
My jacket is from H&M, and was a christmas present. The top underneath is a mighty boosh t-shirt, but you can't really see that in the picture...Woah, these photos nearly join up!! Weird. Anyway, my skirt... I think I have worn this on here before. How repetitive. I do apologise. But I think it goes quite well with my jacket. In the background you can see my ukulele, my mandolin, and my melodica. Yay!Woah, everything is brown! These are my brogues! Spiggy, this picture is for you!!! Look how brown my world is. I also noticed that in this outfit, I am wearing blue and green (which apparently must never be seen), and purple and blue, (another taboo colour combo). I may as well have committed fashion suicide, but I don't think anything I wear ever really matches so never mind. Back to writing songs about the internet. :)

Stripes that will make you siiiiiiing! [30/4/2010]

Salut, m'dears!

It's my day again and I apologise for the crap quality of the pics, my camera refused to cooperate. Anyway, today hasn't been too eventful for me, I woke up, went to the supermarket to get some nomnomz, then I played the piano, recorded a rather crappy song for Mooks called She's A Mook, and now I'm doing nothing. Yay for holidays!

On the pics I'm wearing a Siouxsie t-shirt I bought in Camden millions of years ago, black/red stripeys, can't remember where I got those, my favourite black skirt and my black blazer with lots of pins. The big black one with rainbow writing on it is from Sweden and it says something along the lines of "Control the environment, not individuals." Pretty cool, huh? And I'm posing with a guitar because I'm so hardcore. Yeahhhh.

Today's song is Comme Elle Vient by Noir Désir, a rather nifty French rock band. I'm off to sing the Mooky song.

My legs look huge on this last pic, I promise you I'm not a giant! Far from it!

Pip pip!

Bleh!

Hello everyone!

I can't find my camera today, and after searching for so long it's getting late and I should really start studying. So I decided to scour my computer for and recent pictures of me anddddd.....

A horrible picture of me looking large in an outfit I wore last Tuesday for my boyfriend's band's show. I'm wearing:

*A dress from H&M
*A cardigan from H&M
*A belt from H%M

I had just had a shopping spree. =]For the actual show I also wore black leggings.

While searching I also found this picture of me in my boyfriends awesome shirt. ;)

And in the Spring, I shed my skin, and it blows away with the changing wind...

Here's me today, trying to look all cool by the door of my porch. I'm posting today (26th) because tomorrow is my little brother's third birthday and I might not have time. And I'm procrastinating finishing my "Catcher In The Rye" worksheet for English!

Today I am wearing a dress from Forever 21. I wore it in my first post actually, it has a stripey bit at the top and then it is sort of tulle coming down. For the chair photo, I had to run upstairs and get another petticoat because the dress is way too short to sit down like that in and was showing my bum! Although I am wearing tights. Then I have my new shoes from the Garment District. They're lace up and I thought they were quite Victoriany. Foot Fetishists, knock yourself out with this one :P

My top is a hoody from Hot Topic (I know, I know.) And it's by Tripp, and it's quite cool 'cause it's got suspendery things that you can detatch. And the little snapper things have skulls on them!

Under that hoody, I have a skull top by Sweet and Toxic that I got in Urban Outfitters about four years ago. Tegan Quin has it, too! Which is win! So does my friend, but she found hers at the Salvation Army for about two dollars! Not fair!
Anyway, that is all for today! Until next time, Mooks! xx
Yesterday was hangover day aka stay-in-bed-until-5pm day, so I'm sorry I didn't do my post on time AGAIN. I had a great night Saturday. I turned up with a bottle of Absinthe which was empty by midnight! Everyone was doing shots of it! One person proclaimed "Absinthe tastes like FIRE!" There was a lot of drama with people's exes turning up drunk and stealing car aerials and people joining in on kinky games of Twister. Also there was the usual music wars with me and my friend trying to drown out the dance music in the next room with Devil Driver and friends. I was the last to leave in the morning so I got to take home a left over cherry alcopop. Nom! A bit of a down grade from Absinthe but I didn't mind because cherry is my favourite flavour of everything.
Here I am posing with my favourite jewelry and my piercings. The Day of the Dead necklace and Bettie Page necklace are both off my boyfriend. They are extra special to me. Also you can see my ouchies. I am so chuffed with my scaffold and vertical labret. After getting them done I'm finally starting to get where I want to with my look. :)

I'm wearing my mum's purple cardigan which was £40 - :O - from Fat Face which is a really nice outdoorsy brand but as you can see - stupidly expensive sometimes. The pockets are quite large which is handy if I need to carry lots of munch upstairs. I can put crisps and chocolate in the pockets and still have my hands free for a cup of tea and crumpets! BOO-YAH!

I also have on an old t-shirt which my Godmother brought back from Transylvania. It has creepy faces on it which I'm guessing are supposed to be Vlad the Impaler or Dracula. For a woman who's job is to teach me the ways of the Lord, she doesnt half love The Occult and creepy legends. I was quite jealous she went to see Dracula's castle. Anyway, I loved the design on the front but it was too baggy on me so I customised it:

^ It's all torn up and shit! YAAAAAY!
(My back gets lots of stares when I wear this out in public minus a cardigan)

And finally, my green zebra print skinnies are from Vans - they have some great clothing out at the mo - and my red shoes are actually Gola! It's the only sporty brand clothing I own and you'd never tell because it has a lovely shiny paisly pattern on it.

Alrighty then, I'm done here. ^_^ Have a nice week everyone.

Sorry if this is a little late by UK time standards. I meant to take care of this a while ago, but got terribly distracted. In the first picture I am wearing a tartan kilt, a Rasputina T-Shirt, brown high-heeled biker booties. I replaced the laces in the booties with pink ribbons. Accessories are a green and gray silk scarf, large lime green sunglasses on my head, lots of bracelets from many travels, and a Harajuku Lovers bag.

The second picture is what I had on for the most part of the day: Khaki cargo pants, a black zippy tank top, blue cami, black satin scarf, and black pointed flats. My jewelry consisted of my silver and turquoise bangle from Mexico and, silver studs and crystal drop earrings. Very simple for me, but except for photoshoots, my dress seems to be becoming more simple.

I am pretty sure I have figured out for myself why some people use drugs. While I would never ever try them, I understand the desire to escape one's own mind. Right now, that is all I wish to do. I am so sick of my own thoughts. I will probably be holed up in my room for the rest of the day doing schoolwork, as it is the best way to be productive and keep my thoughts focused on something harmless. Otherwise, I think I am going to be sick.

April 24th

Hellooo ^_^
I've had one of those not very productive days today. I did make a tea coloured candle in a tea cup though. I keep going to drink it then I remember "Woaaaahhh no. That's a candle." It's pretty. I may upload a picture later.

My clothes today are simple, but I wasn't planning on doing much anyway so it fit perfectly. I have a plain black long sleeved top from H&M, which I'm sure I wear too much. I'm also wearing my bloomers! Yay! I made them last summer, I was so determind to get them done before I went on holiday to France. Then I wore them practically every day. My favourite item of clothing I've made myself, by far.
Here's another picture of them. My feet look so cute!
I'm also wearing a necklace which you can't see in the picture from Accesorize, which has a spoon, teacup and a little bow on it.

I've completely messed up this layout. I apologize for my n00bness :p

Well, I'm off to go persuade my Dad to drive me half an hour to my boyfriends house tomorrow. Sayounara beautiful mooks, Lottie over and out xxx
