Sinful Saturday with the Lady

Hey, ladies (and gents), it's Lady Misery here. I am full of a cold but how somehow managed to crawl out of bed, get dressed, take some photos and eat chocolate cake for breakfast. I'm on the kind of diet where you eat whatever you want, but cut something else out from the rest of your day. It seems to work; I've lost a full stone since last August. That was when I was still a youthful fourteen year old. I looked pretty much like a chubby vicar back in those days, but less wholesome.

Today I am wearing a pink long-sleeved top with stars on it, a black Betty-Boop t-shirt, a short denim skirt, mad patterned tights, black baby-heeled shoes and two pairs of necklaces. One of them was a gift from my best friend out of Mooky, the other was given to me by my mother when she had a bad back. I'd just witnessed her collapsing in the bathroom at the time and was silently traumatised. The necklace is covered in silver beads and tubular things. It's difficult to describe. You may be able to see them in the following picture. As you can see, I have a charm bracelet on my wrist covered in anthropomorphic stars and moons. In other words, they have faces. They remind me of a plate on the wall in a chippy I used to go to near where I lived. It's rarely open now, so I can't go back to check if it's still there.

I wish I looked as good as Frankie, Spiggy, Vic or any of the other Mooks. I did attempt to take a photo in the full length mirror of my outfit, but my head looked sort of squat and weird. I think its because my hair is springing up in all directions, but never mind. Here's a photo of my clothes here, inluding the bizarrely patterned tights I'm so famous for at school.

My boobs look pretty big here, but in real life they're tiny! You wouldn't recognise them in the flesh (whayy!) So, I shall say adios and toddle off to write my book, revise my spanish homework and wipe my scarlet nose until it practically falls off.

Ciao!

WTF - What The Focus?

Oh dear.
I tried to take this photo a bazillion times, but just could not get the focus right. By this stage, I was late for my Marketing lecture, so...

This is what I wore to last night's Spinnerette concert. IT WAS AWESOME I SAW BRODY HOLY CRAP RCMOJOJS:MCKIDQ>.

Yes.
- Pair of Docs #2: identical to #1, but far less comfortable due to not being worn much.
- Denim skirt, about 6 years old. I always wear stockings with it, cos... ain't nobody need to see that.
- Jack Skellington bag. Why yes, I do have a lot of Jack-shaped accessories.
- AWESOME Smashing Pumpkins t-shirt. It's this:

I've been so busy this week... I went to bed at 1 after the show, then got up at 6:30 for an 8am tutorial. I have been on the go all day and fell asleep on my way to work. Thankfully I have the weekend off - time for sleeping, cleaning and catching up on study :)

Fiend out.

March 4th, 7.03AM...Pretty Vacant.

Ok, so I've another 5 minutes before I have to get out of bed, but luckily I've a pic of what I'm going to wear today (once I change out of my uniform, blehhh). I know that if I leave doing the blog 'til later it will be forgotten, today's an extra-long day, then I've to stay behind after school to do a mock Spanish oral exam. No me gusta...

I have a lot of less-than-three for this t-shirt! It's comfy beyond belief, and the Sex Pistols = ♥

Right, apologies for how abruptly I have to end this post, but there's only so many times I can press 'Snooze'...

Hope you all have a good day!

Love,

DirtyMagic ;)

Days dawning, skins crawling.

A friend in needs a friend indeed,
A friend with weed is better,
A friend with breasts and all the rest,
A friend who's dressed in leather

A friend in needs a friend indeed,
A friend who'll tease is better,
Our thoughts compressed which makes us blessed,
And makes for stormy weather.

--------------------------------

Today I'm wearing fake leather trousers I got for a tenner in Topshop, reduced from about £50, and in the petite section which things I like never are! So I haven't taken them off since :) I'm also wearing an old purple and black checked shirt, and a studded leather waist belt from H&M. I did wear shoes too, I didn't hop to college barefoot (that would be far too cold at the moment) but my shoes were downstairs and I took this in a rush; but anyway, I wore black cowboy boots with studs and chains on. Today was a good day in sociology, I got A's on two pieces of homework which was really nice because it's the one subject I try really hard in and study all the time; so I guess it's all paying off finally! I don't have any interesting plans for the week, but getting drunk tomorrow night at the girlfriend's with some mates, so that should be fun, and then on Tuesday it's the last night of this bar we usually go to, because it's closing (boo) so we'll be going there from about 3 in the afternoon till the early hours of the morning, yay for hours upon end of being drunk! Mm, I just ate the lovliest curry, it was so nice I ate half of my brothers too, which means I should probably go exercise in a minute. My exercising tonight will consist of hours of hula hooping to Motley Crue, so much more enjoyable than boring sit ups :D Right my little pickles, TTFN :)

March the 2nd on the 3rd.

Time zones are weird things, it's the 3rd of March here but I'm posting for the 2nd of March. I'm in the future! Doodoodoodoo!

Anyway so I'm posting something from my trip to the city (Sydney) on Sunday. Now there's a bit of sibilance for you. Anyway. This day wasn't actually a good one for me, my boyfriend officially broke up with me in person that day. Yeah he had to do it in person because the week before he had done it over the phone. But onto things that aren't jerks!

I'm wearing a top from Tree of Life, I think it looks kind of Art Deco/1920's Flapperish but I don't have the body to get away with that so I paired it with straight legged jeans. My hair isn't actually that short, I just pinned it under to go along with the top. If my hair were't so poofy and curly I'd consider that cut.

The shoes I bought after the idiot broke up with me as retail therapy with my friends. I don't know what I would have done without them that day. I bought them because they were cheap but not too shabby and I don't really have a pair of heels so I thought, what the hey, I feel like crap let's spend some money.
(Edit: So there isn't a picture of my shoes because this blogger sucks ass! Okay so maybe I'm angrier than necessary but my stupid ass boyfriend broke up with me and I hate him currently. -_-)

Much love to you ladies,
Em

Dydd Gwyl Dewi Dedwydd! Happy St David's Day!!

Dydd Gwyl Dewi Dedwydd! Happy St David's Day
:D St David is the patron saint of Wales and he died on the 1st of March. David was a saint because he done something Christian and was therefore awesome. To celebrate, I dressed in National Costume. Normally this would be cool but as I was in England for the entire day I got some weird looks and got shouted "TAFFYY" at quite a few times.
I am wearing my own black skirt from New Look and My Dr Martens. The Apron, Shawl, open fronted bedgown belong to me and I've had it since I was about 6 as we dressed up in the national dress every year to have our picture taken for the newspaper. The Male Costume is just to look like a miner, way easier!
My house-mates came to the pub with me and we met up with a few fellow Welshies to celebrate out saint day. I bought myself a bunch of daffodils to have in my room and a leek to feel more Welsh. We also made cawl, which is a special stew made of meat and veg, and it tasted lluush!
Apart from galavanting about the place like a Welsh Day, I went to Bristol (in normal clothes) and done lush training. Did you know that in 98% of makeup there's this thing called Mineral Oil in it and it's basically petrol in a way. And it doesn't let your skin breathe allowing nothing in to your skin but also nothing out, clogging up your pores. It also helps worsen spots. The worst thing is that this stuff is in Johnson & Johnson baby lotion, you're putting petrol on your baby!! Crazy huh? I was really shocked. So please look at ingredients mookys! :D
I'm now of to tell the Bath lush team about the crazy mineral oil.
Love and cwtches to you all!!

Apologies for it being 20 minutes into the next day...

Hello, apologies for being ever so slightly into the next person's day! At least I'm posting and I guess that's what counts right?

Unfortunately, my camera has finally decided to die on my completely. Luckily for me, this quite old picture of me here is actually exactly what I wore today! And, you get pretty Aberystwyth South Beach in the background :)

What I'm Wearing:
  • Black Leather Jacket from Zara
  • Purple/Black/Grey/Silver Check Shirt Dress from Dorothy Perkins
  • Black Wet Look Leggings from Matalan (sorry, you can't see them)
  • Black Doc Martens, also not pictured

Today has been productive, but highly boring. I cleaned my kitchen, I did some emergency food shopping, and I went to work. Delightful! The boy was supposed to visit me tonight, but, alas, he is just as skint as I am. His boss still hasn't paid him and he was supposed to be paid at the beginning of February. As a result, I'm ever so sulky tonight. Hope you Mooks (and any other readers?) have had a good weeked.

Love from Emily Jane/loserbuttercup xx
